Heartbreaking news about Gulf of Mexico!

All of the Gulf of Mexico news that’s now coming out from Wildlife services and scientists is heartbreaking!   They’re finding dead Whales, Dolphins, Sea Turtles, Sharks, Pelicans, and Bluefin Tuna.

The figures that estimate the amount of oil spewing out into the oceans keeps increasing. Now it is at 1.5 to 2.5 *MILLION* gallons a day.

It’s good to see humanity in totality is putting their foot down by sending a message to such companies:  BP boycott making a dent, and Gas stations dumping BP.

Gas stations dumping BP!

Thank the Infinite!   It looks like the voices of the public are being heard. Gas stations are now starting to dump BP –>

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/07/07/some-bp-gas-stations-swit_n_638398.html

Let this be a lesson BP.  Take you and all of the criminal acts that the USA has convicted you with and go away for a long time.

People are finding out which gas stations use BP oil, such as Arco gas stations.

Must see Video!!

This is a must see video by John L. Wathen, 9 minutes & 55 seconds in length. Please spread the word about this video. At 2:32 (2 minutes & 32 seconds) time mark the video starts to get more intense. And at 6 minute time mark it gets even more intense.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pxDf-KkMCKQ

Unbelievable rapid destruction on a scale unseen by humanity thus far!!

The amount of oil on the oceans being burnt right now is scary. Not only for the toxic oil pollution, but for all of the mammals such as whales and dolphins.  Can you imagine the Whales, the gentle giants of the seas surfacing to breath air, but to only find it’s living skin being torched by the massively hot burning oil?

As you see in videos, John had difficulty finding life in the gulf now. A few dolphin pods swimming around dead floating dolphins trying to figure out how to get out of this world of toxic fumes from unheard of amounts of burning oils.

BP boycott making a dent!

Looks like the early numbers are already coming in. Isn’t it amazing how even the younger generation can make such a huge difference with tools such as Facebook and Twitter. And the older generation is helping as well. Here’s a quote from CNN news –>

“Along Florida’s Gulf Coast there are signs a boycott may be having some impact. Edison Oil Company, a gasoline distributor in Fort Myers which counts 25 BP stations among its customers, says over the past four days there has been a 30% decline in the volume of gas it is delivering to BP pumps, compared to average daily volume for the past month.

Wow, a 30% decline in BP gas pumps.  Man, the younger generation brings tears to my eyes. For those who help, and to all humanitarians, Thank you so much for caring!

Boycott BP forever - huge movement!

By now most of you have heard of the massive movement around the world and on Facebook & Twitter of people *pledging* to boycott BP. BP was already prosecuted with criminal acts. Indeed, looks like there’s hope, as their appears to be a huge movement amongst the younger generation of people who care.

Boycotting BP will indeed help tremendously –>

  • Boycotting BP rewards oil companies that are more careful.
  • Boycotting BP sends a message to the oil industry.
  • Boycotting BP gets people thinking, which encourages people to burn *less* gasoline.
  • Boycotting BP gets people thinking, which encourages people to use green energy.

This BP Boycott is one of the greatest acts I’ve seen in a long time.

Here is the main Facebook Boycott BP, that is presently at 727,596 members who have taken a pledge to Boycott BP.  Please join –>

Here are the companies associate with BP. I pledge to not use any of these companies for at least the next 10 years. Together all good people can send a message they will never forget!

A few companies associated with BP that people around the world are now avoiding:

Please let me know if you find more companies. Also please let me know if any of the above companies makes a public statement that they are no longer associated with BP.

No more oil drilling

Obviously everyone in the green movement that was against deep sea oil drilling was correct. Regardless, these companies cannot be trusted, and mistakes will always happen eventually. Here in the USA the majority of conservatives / tea party / republicans were and still encourage deep sea drilling, while Democrats / Liberals were and still are against deep sea drilling.

Such conservatives / tea party / republicans place $ over life, period. Most people have absolutely no clue how much life has died because of the highly toxic crude oil, and this will have an impact spanning decades. One of many examples is the sea turtles that were already endangered are dieing from the toxic oil and lack of food. The remaining sea turtles are forced to swim toward the few remaining fishing areas where they end up with a hook in their mouth.

Perhaps the greatest tragedy is the precious wetlands that are being destroyed as we speak due to the toxic crude oil.

Humanity, please grow up and stop all oil drilling! You have beautiful sources from Wind to Solar.

Please pray, meditate, volunteer to help, donate, or whatever you believe in to help in any way possible.

How can you help?

A number of organizations are recruiting volunteers:

The National Wildlife Federation is looking for volunteers and support to help spot distressed or oiled wildlife, and to assist in the cleanup and restoration efforts along the coast of Louisiana.
You can text the word “NWF” to 20222. That’ll donate $10 to the National Wildlife Federation through your phone bill.

Save Our Seabirds is a Florida bird rescue group that is looking for support as its response team prepares to help oiled wildlife. Call 1-941-388-3010.

The Audubon Society, which is affiliated with the Louisiana Coastal Initiative, is making its Center for Birds of Prey in Florida available for bird cleansing and rehabilitation and is seeking volunteers. Elsewhere, Audubon said it was gearing up to mobilize volunteers and provide assistance as the oil reaches land in Louisiana and elsewhere. Find a local office

The Deep Water Horizon response team is looking for help in identifying shoreline and animals affected. Oiled wildlife should not be captured but instead reported at 1-866-557-1401. To report areas with oil ashore or to leave contact information to volunteer in the affected areas, call 1-866-448-5816.

In addition to the wildlife specific organizations, others are also looking to assist with the effects of the oil spill.

The First Response Team of America is working with the National Guard in Southern Louisiana to build dams to hold back the oil from the fragile coastal habitats. Their founder, Tad Agoglia — who was named a CNN Hero in 2008 – has made their work on the oil spill their top priority until the disaster is contained.

The Mobile Bay National Estuary Program is looking for volunteers to help reduce the potential impact of the oil spill in Mobile Bay. Call 1-251-431-6409.

Thanks for helping!!!

Oil ties to Anti Global Warming

Wow, the more I dive into this, the more “oil” pops into the picture. I’ll never buy gas from Exxon again. Here are a few quotes from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Climate_change_denial

Quotes, the numbers in [] are the wikipedia references,

“A survey carried out by the Royal Society found that in 2005 ExxonMobil distributed $2.9m to 39 groups that the society said “misrepresented the science of climate change by outright denial of the evidence”.[30]“

The British Royal Society conducted a survey that found ExxonMobil had given US$ 2.9 million to American groups that “misinformed the public about climate change,” 39 of which “misrepresented the science of climate change by outright denial of the evidence”.[3][42] In 2006, the British Royal Society issued a demand that ExxonMobil withdraw funding for climate change denial. The letter, which was leaked to the media, drew criticism, notably from Timothy Ball and others, who argued the society attempted to “politicize the private funding of science and to censor scientific debate.”[43]“

“Cooney reportedly removed an entire section on climate in one report, whereupon an oil lobbyist sent him a fax saying “You are doing a great job.”[5]“

“Some denials and disinformation campaigns have been promoted by individuals or groups that are funded by special interest groups with a financial interest in misrepresenting the scientific consensus on climate change[1], particularly those with ties to companies like ExxonMobil or the energy lobby.[2][3][4]

“Then-Vice President Dick Cheney‘s connections to the Energy Lobby, and to ExxonMobil in particular, have fueled speculation that his characterization of climate change science is linked to the “denial industry.”[37] In 2000, Cheney’s Energy Task Force, officially known as the National Energy Policy Development Group, invited the executives of various major oil companies, including Exxon, Conoco, BP, and Royal Dutch Shell, to consult with the White House regarding the development of a national energy policy, although this was initially denied by the participating companies.[38] An Exxon lobbyist – among others – was thanked by the U.S. Undersecretary of Global Affairs for Exxon‘s role in convincing President Bush to reject the Kyoto accords. According to the Union of Concerned Scientists:  In her talking points for a 2001 meeting with a group that included ExxonMobil lobbyist Randy Randol (uncove#ff9999 through a Freedom of Information Act request), U.S. Undersecretary for Global Affairs Paula Dobriansky thanked the group for their input on global warming policy, noting, ‘POTUS [the president of the United States] rejected Kyoto, in part, based on input from you.Global Climate Coalition, according to a leaked 1991 “strategy memo,” set out not to gather data and test explanations, but to influence public perception of climate change science and “reposition global warming as theory rather than fact.”[14] The strategy was criticized as misrepresenting science in a 2006 Royal Society letter to ExxonMobil expressing disappointment that a recent industry publication “leaves readers with such an inaccurate and misleading impression of the evidence on the causes of climate change … documented in the scientific literature.”[15]“

“The United Kingdom identified the issue of climate change denial as a major topic on its agenda while chair of the G8 group of wealthy countries in 2005.[11]“

Several think tanks funded by Exxon or, later, ExxonMobil, to contest climate change have also reputedly received funding from Philip Morris such as the Competitive Enterprise Institute, the Cato Institute, the Heritage Foundation, the Hudson Institute, the Frontiers of Freedom Institute, the Reason Foundation, George Mason University‘s Law and Economics Center, and the Independent Institute.[27]“

Cooney announced his resignation two days after the story of his tampering with scientific reports broke.[34] A few days later it was announced that Cooney would take up a position with ExxonMobil.[35]“

Oil ties to Anti Global Warming

Noah E. Robinson is on the faculty of OISM, which circulated the Oregon Petition, a petition” against global warming. OISM is headed by Dr. Arthur B. Robinson who lectures on global warming skepticism at the Heartland Institute, a conservative/libertarian free-market think tank that often funds global warming-skeptical research and is funded in part by ExxonMobil, a petroleum company.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oregon_Institute_of_Science_and_Medicine

It goes on the say, “31,000 American scientists opposed, on scientific grounds, to the hypothesis of “human-caused global warming”  Key word is “Human-caused.”  This is not about if global warming is real. The data is overwhelming that global warming is real. The temperatures are increasing. This is about what’s causing it.

It’s getting interesting in here folks. Big oil.
